The modern day dairy farmer and the transformation of new technology
Dairy farmer, Scott Kingston has been helping to run the family business since he was young, the farm being in the family for generations.
Technology has evolved heavily and continues to do so as time goes on, which has helped contribute to the dairy farm today, located in Tresham, a small village in Gloucestershire.
The farm has been in the family since the 1940s when Scott’s great grandfather came to England from Ireland with just a few animals to first open the farm.
Since then the farm has developed and grown with over 400 hundred cows and four different types of cow, now supplying their milk to the supermarket giant, Sainsbury's.
The farm has kept up with the ever evolving technology, helping the farm go from strength to strength with the daily running of the farm and the care for the cows themselves.
With the new technology, the family were eager to keep up with the way of modern day life to help evolve and strengthen their dairy farm, aiming for success for the family run business.
